To render the scene the more interesting to the inhabitants, the proprietors have constructed a splendid Saddle for the large Male Elephant, trimmed and decorated after the East India style, similar to the print represented on the large bill, and as the Grand Cavalcade enters the town or villiaage, the Elephant will be introduced with several gentlemen of the Band mounted on the Saddle, who will play a variety of the most popular Airs, Marches &c. selected from the most celebrated composers of Music. The Elephant will also, during the hours of performance, be brought into the circle, thereby affording an opportunity to those who have not had the pleasure of takeing a social ride upon this majestic animal.
There will also be Exhibited in this place on the above day, a Museum, and also a large Anaconda or terrific Serpent of Java, nearly 18ft long, and a Boa Constrictor or strangling Serpent, nearly 14 feet long. Admittance to the Museum, 12 1/2 cents; Children under the age of 10 years half price.
