CHS CONVENTION REGISTRATION UPDATE

Wednesday, July 16, Noon to 5:00 P.M. - lobby of Best Western Motel.

This year's paper presenters will be: Peta Tait, Stuart Thayer, Rick Pfening, Fred Dahlinger, Steve Gossard, William Schrieber, Cliff Watkins, Charles Conrad, Al Stencell, Jim Alexander, and Howard Jones. Banquet Guest Speaker will be animal trainer and showman Doug Terranova.

Still time to register - taking registrations right up to 5:00 P.M., Wed. July 16th. In time to include you in the audience of the great Circus City Festival Circus at 7:00. See some of the acts that dazzled them in Monte Carlo Circus festival. We have good speakers, three museums to visit, two performances to attend, a terrific old time circus parade to see, a banquet, a big auction of circus items, and lots of great fellowship.

Lots of motel rooms in the area - the Wabash Inn just a few miles away. Don't let others tell you what a great convention you missed! Just show up - everyone is welcome.

Program will include guest speakers, annual CHS auction and banquet. Convention events will take place during the Peru Circus Festival, with its parade and hometown circus. Also scheduled is a visit to the International Circus Hall of Fame located on the grounds of the former winter quarters of the American Circus Corporation.

Convention Location

As of June 10th, additional rooms at Best Western and Knights Inn have become available! Be sure to mention the "Circus block bookings."

Best Western Motel and Knights Inn. Best Western only has a few rooms left for Friday and Saturday nights.

Best Western: rates from $81 to $91 a day, includes breakfast. Located at 2642 US Highway 31 South, Peru, Indiana 46970. Call 765-473-8800 for reservations (ask for CHS room block), Fax is 765-473-5670. If there are questions, ask for Charles Gray.

Knights Inn: rates from $55 to $60 a day. Located at 2661 US Highway 31 South, Peru, Indiana. Call 765-472-3971 and ask for Peter.

Motel rooms are subject to 6% Indiana sales tax.

CHS has limited rooms at these two Motels due to the large attendance at the Peru Circus Festival. Book now, rooms will only be held for CHS until June 16, 2003. There are also rooms in area motels and in Wabash, IN (ten miles away).
