Chalmer Condon's Letterhead

J. H. LaPearl letterhead

This letterhead of J. H. LaPearl Great Railroad Shows was vintage of 1891. It is in four colors: red, blue, green and black. The title is in blue as well as the word Circus. Red was used for borders, the equestrienne's dress, the clown costume and hippo's mouth. The other colors were blended in to make a very flashy letterhead. Bandwagon, Vol. 5, No. 1 (Jan-Feb), 1961, p. 21.
