A Ringling Brothers and a German Horse show poster was found April 14, 2007 on the side of an old building that is being remodeled. Below are three photos of the posters, taken in parts by Marcia Vanderpool. According to Marcia, the town where the poster was found is about 10 miles east of Fort Dodge. A little farming community called Vincent Iowa. It probably has maybe 200 people at the most and probably never was much bigger than that. Marcia added, "As a little girl we would go and see them unload the circus and then it would parade past our house on the way to the circus grounds. I am 65 so that is a lot of years ago. The poster advertises that the circus will be in Fort Dodge but no date was seen." [Date visible on the poster is Saturday, August 27, Ft. Dodge. A circus historian states the year is 1910.]
