Lillian Lietzel

Wallendas

The Wallendas were scouted by Ringling Barnum agent Pat Valdo who booked them on the Greatest Show on Earth for the 1928 season. They remained as a feature of the big show for many years, and returned to Ringling Barnum in the 1940s. Cover illustration dedicated to Karl Wallenda, Bandwagon, Vol. 20, No. 1 (Jan-Feb), 1976.
