Sig Sautelle Bandwagon, 1958 (restored)
The Sullivan & Eagle Co., of Peru, Indiana built this bandwagon for the Sig Sautelle 9 Big Shows, of Homer, New York in the early 1900s. The wagon was last used about 1916. It was moved to Ohio a few years later along with some small cross cages from the Sautelle show. The cages have been lost, but the wagon is in excellent condition. It was discovered about three years ago. In June of 1958 it was removed from a barn and restored through the efforts of CHS and was paraded on July 4th. This photo was taken during the parade. Bandwagon, Vol. 2, No. 4 (Jul-Aug), 1958, cover photo, short article p. 4.
