In 1936 Ken Maynard opened his Diamond K Wild West show. He used many old Christy wagons, nearly all carried the diamond with a "K" in the center. "Charlie Puck's Oldtime Snapshots," Bandwagon, Vol. 5, No. 6 (Dec), 1961, p. 16.
Buck Jones Wild West Show, wagon, 1929. "Some interesting photos from the J. V. Leonard collection," Bandwagon, Vol. 5, No. 5 (Sep-Oct-Nov), 1961, p. 17.
This bandwagon was used on the Mighty Haag Shows in 1903. "Bill Woodcock's Circus Album," Bandwagon, Vol. 7, No. 4 (Jul-Aug), 1963, p. 19.
Famous Great Wallace Ticket Wagon as it appeared in 1932. Most of the Hagenbeck-Wallace wagons that season carried the show's slogan, "The Highest Class Circus in the World." Photo by Charlie Kitto. Bandwagon, Vol. 9, No. 2 (Mar-Apr), p. 24.
This interesting wagon is pictured here as a steam calliope on Welsh Bros. Circus, around 1905. It is reported to have first been a bandwagon on Burr Robbins, and was later definitely one of the first bandwagons used by the Ringling Bros., who sold it to Welsh. Welsh Bros. added the calliope. Original cabinet photo from Pfening Collection. Bandwagon, Vol. 9, No. 2 (Mar-Apr), p. 24.
