Was There a Circus in Your 'Backyard'?

The following are "logos" from a variety of 20th century circuses scanned from the Ted Bowman collection of envelopes provided by John Polacsek. Click on the small graphic to view the actual logo. The list of circuses is arranged by state and city/town listed as the return address on the envelope. The return addresses are either the circus winter quarters, business office, or the lithograph company that provided posters for the show.. Some of the logos give additional information (e.g., names, addresses). Also listed is the date the circus was in this city & state, verified by John Polacsek.
